But none of them will so then what will they do? Teachers are professionals - the same as doctors, the same as offshore financiers, the same as e-gambling IT programmers, the same as advocates, etc. They should be treated with respect and paid a decent salary. Would you rather they lived off foodbanks?

Would you rather they lived off foodbanks? FFS no teachers are living off foodbanks. That’s total bullshit. Their salary grades are published and they aren’t “shit” as several posters keep saying in this thread. If they don’t like it as I said they’re free to do something else. Everyone is free to do absolutely anything else they want if they think they’re being undervalued.

It is an example of a group of people taking strike action against a private sector employer. Of course not all architects are going to go on strike because they don't all work for that one firm or for under a national or industry wide agreement. Last word now as I’m bored. If you lazy fuckers spent less time moaning on the internet all day and more time working and teaching maybe you’d have the public on your side. But this thread runs 24/7 and so does all the moaning on Facebook. Do you ever find any time to teach kids in amongst your persistent and aggressive 24/7 online moaning that you’re not getting paid enough to allegedly do your job?
