The Crosby

It night just be REALLY bad marketing and it’s actually a decent size and decent value, but nobody is going to think that when you call it half a sandwich FFS!

What is half a sandwich anyway? Top half? Bottom half? One rectangle? One triangle?  Why no photo of said sandwich.

If times are tough in hospitality then decent marketing is key.  Facebook is a great tool for food places as a decent photo and a decent price will grab people’s attention.  Advertising half a sandwich is just pathetic.

I would say value for money, not being ripped off and short changed. Offering originality and innovation also helps.

I dont think that H&B pubs offer fantastic value for money, especially in terms of the offerings to the consumer, but that’s my own view.?

Maybe they could have done a full sandwich and bowl of soup? Half a sandwich at a large price isn’t at least to me value of money.

Is the Crosby a brewery pub? £9.50 for a cuppa soup and half a sandwich seems overly generous for them.
