Thats why I posted about it being £12 tomorrow.

Did you really go and fact check it (badly)? Bloody hell

I checked because I thought it looked like good value (which it still is) and found an interesting menu.

You obviously didn't check the website.  Maybe it's gone up recently.

Maybe it's discount for promotion by DfE employees....? 😉

No I checked the menu as I said.

(I actually find it a bit worrying if they are meeting resistance to an increase to a still very reasonable £14).

Who says they are meeting resistance?  They are just doing a nice thing.  It was packed last week at what you rightly say is a very reasonable £14 for the quality of the food.

It’s an act of altruism apparently as November is a tough month for people.

Assuming the reduction in price from £14 to £12 is for the one meat option, how much is it for the three meat option ( £16 on the actual menu)?

Who cares?

Its £12 for a roast dinner you can eat in or take home.

Its very good value in this day and age, especially since the food is very, very good.

Jeez. This place is pathetic sometimes.

Go and partake in a great value Sunday dinner or don’t.  It makes no odds to me.

Why not message or phone them? I am sure Andy will give you an appropriate answer.

''.... seen as november....''

Should that be .... seeing as November's ....

Does the food always look as it does in those Photos?

Do you get TWO Prawns for 14 quid?

Is it going to look like that when you get it home?

The promotion itself may be of good value but 50 quid for a Family of four??? Or are you just going to give the kids the bits you don't want!!!

Not any guarantee they will not reduce the quantities for the special offer!

Such a messy way to make a special offer, so many pitfalls!
