Listened to it all. None the wiser except they are increasing staff to cope with the climate change demands

What climate change demands.

Whatever we do will not make the slightest difference.  Just good money after bad

What we need is to be is careful and not waste anything, including money on 'cutting edge' eco initiatives.  As many have said, what we do is going to have minimal impact globally.  We would be much better piggy-backing on others' trials and errors and getting the most cost effective solutions from them. We do not need to be in the vanguard.

In the meantime, exploit what we have, including the potential from Crogga from the transition fuel which is said to be needed for 30 years.  Use the government revenue from that to move other areas such as power supply and households to  green energy- interconnector, home improvement grants etc.

I didn't listen to the whole programme, but did hear how Daphne said driving her EV made her feel better  implying it helped her mental state.  Maybe, but perhaps it just made her feel righteous and smug

Daffy has just started spouting on MR right now, and she already sounds as if she is floundering.

If I read it correctly she’s saying that by 2024 we’ll be generating 30% of our electric by the connector. It actually sounded like she was freebasing cocaine. It’s just fantasy stuff.
