I was talking to someone who was there who said they wouldn’t be surprised if Wells had walked out as she was clearly taking it all as some sort of personal vendetta against her rather than accepting that people didn’t agree with her. Perhaps she’s claimed victimhood to the press so that they didn’t report the full extent of things which I believe were very feisty indeed. She even lives in Braddan and clearly has no understanding of what it’s like to live in central Douglas. I am not a council member and I voted in favour of the changes being kept. She lives in Douglas, a fact anyone can check on the council website. I recommend you tone it down a bit if you want anyone to take your arguments seriously. Numbnuts Posted December 14, 2022 Share Posted December 14, 2022 (edited) I'm not irate about it. I have one bin. I live alone and my one bin will comfortably manage more than a two week empty. When I get back on the Island though I will be fitting the lock I got off Ebay and thats me sorted from the leeches who insist on putting their rubbish in my bin . If they dump it outside any bins DTC will have to call and lift it or its going to get really messy.
