OK.  What on earth made you wonder if a motivation for moving to two weekly collections in Douglas could possibly be to secure a contract in Santon to collect rubbish every Wednesday morning?

It is not pedantic to question the basis on which you have come to your 'wonderings', which do not make sense if you look at it (cut the whole of Douglas collections so we can do a half day collection each week in Santon). 

But for some, your 'wonderings' will become the truth that 'they' are hiding from us. 

That is not pedantry, it is a grown up argument. But anyone of normal intellect would recognise that.

Just to add some figures to Gladys's argument, there were 11,806 households in Douglas in the 2021 Census.  There were only 313 in Santon.

There should be all-island waste management body, it is crazy so many small authorities having to deal with their own through whatever means.  Pool it all and you would think there would be efficiencies and better handling.
