It’s the sort of costly deadbeat thing DBC would probably do. They’re already apparently searching through peoples rubbish to identify who they are. That’s quite ironic from a poster who seems to have made about 5,000 posts about lazy teachers. I bet the bin men now have even more time off than teachers now with two week pick ups.

I’d say your picking on the wrong targets if the 15 or so posts I’ve made in this thread wind you up so much when you seem to have spent the best part of a year abusing the whole teaching profession on this forum day in, day out for months on end. 1

Posters miss relevant responses when all they do is 'go to last post' happens a lot on here. https://www.santon.org.uk/refuse-collection/

Maybe the staff at the efw plant will snap these up and turn the waste into electricity instead of seeing it blown all over the island and out to sea.
Roger Mexico
21 hours ago, MrGarrison said: At least the residents seem to be getting quite inventive now To be fair to DBC, Amadeus has said that the binmen will pick up black bags from beside full bins over the holidays, as is done every year. But what gets me about this photo (and others) is: does no one know how to close the top of a bin bag? The main reason why stuff is blowing everywhere is because no one has bothered to spend five seconds to tie a knot in the top of the bag. Makes it easier to carry to the bin, stops things falling out, makes it easier for the refuse collectors.
