hissingsid Posted February 19, 2023 Share Posted February 19, 2023 A multi storey car park would be the way forward if I had the decision to make and I would make it affordable really cheap if you purchased a weekly ticket this would accommodate workers and help the active scheme if they walked into town also it would be available for visitors to use that stay that end of the promenade . If it’s an uncontested seat or little interest exists allow people to vote for none of the above at a public vote if they disagree that a seat should just be handed to someone through lack of interest. Not using it as a car park or dumping ground would be a start. Not only that, there is the area right alongside the MER/horse tram/pub which is used as a dump site. Maybe someone should notify DBC and get them to serve a notice: That wooden crate would come in handy for my new raised bed. And I'll have the gate as well. That story is hilarious you can almost feel his disappointment and sense of “how very dare they” when presented with the result that 39% of his parish actually got up and went out to register a protest vote just so that he had less chance of getting in. Looking at the present members of DCB or even some of the Commissioners would it really give anyone with half a brain and a modicum of sense any incentive to join them ?
