Recycling rates are up. R..odent numbers are not.

My Cat has had three this week, give her a break!!! Also someones BBQ chicken but we won't mention that!!! Didn't put up much of a fight, so she left them lying around for the other Cats in the area!

If the new rubbish collection and re-cycling are cutting costs and carbon emissions, I say go for it, I think I'll start a petition for MONTHLY collections, save more? Suit me, I learnt long ago to reduce my rubbish volume!!! 🤪

As for the Keys, I would like Amadeus to stand, along with Watson, the Onchan comms girl and the other they. The more Junger Leuten  in the Keys the better!!! Shake things up a bit???

Just don't compete against the current good ones, aim to oust the 'Old Guard', tho' not all of them are as bad as their MF profile!!!!

That's why I say that they should choose the battles carefully!

If they are of the same mindset as an incumbent, don't compete, if they think that thgey can oust an incumbent who is too complacent, then go for it???

I'm in east dlas, I want Joney f to continue but I would be happy to see some competition  for the Barber seat, so don't upset Joney but counter the Barber seat, candidates should consider this.

How do they do this? Another MLP candidate?  Careful not to dilute the vote but keep on with the MLC vote that put them there????

Come on he couldn’t even beat the islands recognized most failed MHK candidate. That’s why he wouldn’t stand as it would be embarrassing to even come behind such a complete joke as Josem in any Douglas contest.

Bit of a garbled response without understanding the election process? You have to understand our two votes per person system and the skewing that can arise, then respond!

Well they used the savings in money/staff time to deliver the recycling service.

No, they used that to do the garden waste service that is useless to the half of Douglas which doesn’t have a garden.

The recycling service was fortnightly before the change, and it’s still fortnightly now. They’re just a bit quicker at responding to requests for more boxes.

Sorry DBC but l can't find promenade thread or is this it?

I bumped into a gentleman on the promenade, and l have to admit to losing my car after walking my dog, l know! But couldn't find it. :), so l was walking up and down like an idiot.  Anyway, the gentleman was trying to cross the road very near  the Queens; he was in an electric wheelchair.  l pointed a kerbside slope, but unfortunately, a quick look opposite showed an extremely high kerb.  I escorted him across the road, where we had to divert our crossing by 10 metres to the opposite slope.  I apologise for the inappropriate faux pas. Is this acceptable?  I don't think so. 🤔
