Moderators decision is final in the rules is to stop these navel gazing debates, where the forums become the story, rather than the stories and the discussion. Its really useful to have the debate once in a while, I’ve indicated my position, happy to go and invited you all to start a new moderator thread. I’ve gone back and revisited the postings and exchanges that led to your suspension. It wasn’t the wrong moderating decision then, and I wouldn’t moderate differently today. And I’m happy about that. So, after lots of introspection, no contrition, no apology. But that’s no different to your position where you can’t conceive that it’s possible that you were wrong. And no one would ever dream about being rude about a Manx politician on Manx Forums, so she's got to go somewhere. It was always clear that coherent, specialised groups such as scientists would be the first to stampede over to Mastodon as Twitter starts to wobble.
