Two-lane
What happened to the mural of Fand, the fairy princess? Maybe that's in another multi-million pound endeavour. I suppose it is all to distract the promenaders from looking at the crap state of the beach.

How should they be used then?
Dirty Buggane
Its only because "the idiots use them like round abouts" that they work at all. And is it just me or are they planning to move the war memorial to fill up all the shite space they created when for no good reason they narrowed a major thoroughfare. And it dont look like there's a wall just a nice uninterrupted view for the people sitting there Edited November 18, 2022 by Dirty Buggane

Dirty Buggane
The ambience left Douglas prom with the festoon lighting. This is just a long line of things to spunk money on, not because its needed or even being able to be delivered. Spending money for spending sakes. Its like you have a nice little firm delivering a decent product at a decent price, your making a living you are supporting staff who are making a living every one you/staff/public are happy every body doing fine. Then some pillox says you have to be expanding and be growing the business, so you buy more machines bigger premises more staff. Cut product overheads buy cheaper material, Public do not like new product you sell less. Staff cuts follow unemployment, bank calls in loans suffer from stress have heart attack. Think should of slapped that prick in the mouth when he said expand. And die
monasqueen
Can we have a stabit back on display, please? Why was this removed from outside the Sea Terminal (years ago now) and what happened to it? There was a promise of a big statue of a seagull some years ago. What happened to that? How much was spent on them before they were scrapped? How many of the current proposals are just pie in the sky, too?

You just edge out and merge while being aware of other traffic. Some just sit there like a lemon and watch all the traffic coming from their right then plough out in front of traffic coming from their left waving their arms thinking they have priority. It hangs in the living room of Jason Moorhouse MHK, it's like an avian-themed disco ball.

There isn’t an actual road marking in sight 😂 It’s not for debate. It’s an unmarked junction as explained by the police and as is obvious from the fact that there are no legal road markings. The point is there were meant to be loads of crashes when they opened. Apart from one blind motorcyclist in TT, I am not aware of any Edited November 18, 2022 by Asthehills

For all the scaremongering when they first went in if every junction on the island was the same it would be a better place to live. 1
