I hope someone bought him a set of bullet points for christmas.

Yada yada yada...people don't want to listen to 20 minutes of yak when it can be neatly summarised and got across in 3 minutes.

That's always been his problem.

Off you go then...

I've listened to dozens and dozens of his (and many other's) Tynwald debates.

He's his own worst enemy, even alienating many would be supporters with his monotonous and tedious speeches...instead of just getting to the point.

It's always the same 'speech' whatever the topic.

One minute he says there's no party politics on the island and the next he quotes Liberal Vannin. Manx Labour Party and the Green Party.

Make your mind up, Peter.

Ex MHK Peter Karran has been on the NPM slamming IOMG and its record on housing. Yes he is right but nobody will criticise LibLabVan member Minister Hooperman who as well as being MHK Ramsey and Minister for the Department of Health and Care. Instead of concentrating on voters concerns, his sole concern is to remove the vote of the Lord Bishop.

former minister has claimed government has ‘done nothing’ to solve the housing crisis since the last general election.

Peter Karran has told Manx Radio he believes things have worsened since 2021.

That's despite it being a topic that dominated the campaign trail.

The long-serving Onchan MHK, and former leader of the Liberal Vannin Party, has reiterated calls for restrictions on new homes being sold to off-Island residents.

He’d also like to see a part-equity mortgage scheme to help first-time buyers:

Manx Radio has invited the Isle of Man Government to respond.

Peter has been banging on for years on the same theme. It is impossible to restrict the purchase of houses to people who want to live in them. Rentals are part of the mix.

It must be irritating for Liberal Vannin to have their former leader issuing forth (sometimes incoherently) on the topic of housing.

Was Peter ever coherent?

That's not the problem.

It's people like the Buy-To-Let-Brigade hoovering up properties with cash which means they are no longer available for Manx folks to buy that's part of the problem.

So we need to build more houses 25% of which should be Section 13 'affordable'.
