It’s not clear at the moment. They are saying there is some private funding as well as Treasury but it also looks like there will be no freeholds for sale so who is going to get their money back and when?

Still not enough car parking in this gulag , and it does not meet the planning criteria  recently approved by Tynwald in the Eastern sector plan , look out for the petition of doleance  when the chief minister  tries to call it in and ride roughshod over the planning rules and natural justice

Everyone will have a rusty old bike to cycle to the Terrace in order to queue outside the sausage shop for 4 hours on a Wednesday redeem their coupon for two sausages. And the state bus will take them to to have a wash at the NSC on a Saturday. Maybe even use the sauna if they have extra credits. Then in 15 years time when they get their new Peel Trident they’ll get a parking space and they’ll then be able to drive to the Wessex to redeem a voucher for 4 gallons of two-stroke so they can go to Port Erin beach for the day.

They’re trying to do some sort of deal with DBC for 55 units for social housing which would get round this. But as DBC hasn’t got £10M to buy them with and there would be outrage if they did I can’t see that flying either. Most of it seems to be pure bullshit.
