The great blocker on more IOM recruitment is largely accommodation costs so here they’ll look after their own new imported workers so they can employ more. All being brought in on NI subsidy schemes and taxpayer funded relocation packages as well. So they’ll bring them in to pay rent to them as their landlord funded by their 100% taxpayer funded salaries to pay off debt to treasury funneled through loans made to the MDC that will need to be repaid to Treasury - so the taxpayer is basically paying the taxpayer back for all the taxpayer money it’s borrowed over 30 odd years or more via taxpayer funded wages. In the meantime there will be less and less accommodation for real people working in the private sector funding new taxes and revenue. It’s the perfect self funding taxpayer rip off scheme so that they can look after their own recruitment needs with other peoples money. They’ve got to build increased capacity for the ever increasing taxpayer subsidized hoardes: https://www.iomtoday.co.im/news/isle-of-man-government-staff-numbers-rise-by-more-than-700-in-seven-years-652305 Thanks offshore Brit etc😂

But to a real person who actually deals in real life things they haven’t completely made up that’s probably a bit steep really: It’s 175k per apartment ffs. That’s not expensive in 2023/24 Just for clarity before you get confused again, I never said I wouldn’t respond to any of your posts. How much do you think the development should have cost in the current environment? Extra marks if you show your working out.

Well if we are talking about the westmoreland village I do . Its currently a struggle to park anywhere near our house as it is thanks to the building opposite Eagle Court being built . Imagine what it will be like when you add in all the cars that the people In westmoreland village don't need but will have because no one wants to live within a 15 minute village really . Think that's worth moaning about . Just to be able to park even remotely near our houses

Parking in the are could actually be improved.

Omobono
more properties in Demesne road being demolished next week so the workmen have been telling people in the area , if government buy the remainder out james Caines Crosby cain and Kennish scout hall all the former houses on Westmoreland road that were formerly DHSS the bye up cost will be in the neck end of £6 million before they have finished , so much for a tired brown field site , the significant cost of development on this site just does not stack up !

You keep saying that you won’t be replying to any of my posts then you keep on replying to my posts as it’s clear that nobody else is interested in debating with a fantasist like you so you need the attention Fantasy Dave and keep on coming back after promising you won’t be replying again. It’s quite sad. Nobody can be bothered to reply to your made up bullshit so you then have to reduce yourself to trying to argue with someone you said you wouldn’t engage with because nobody else can be bothered engaging with the aggressive bullshit you post. Same as Jack Shite the bullshit hospitality expert and the bullshit Banker. The trio of forum experts who just make up bullshit to cause arguments with other posters. Very weird psychology.
