Given what those two have inflicted on the Island's taxpayers between them, they should have been driven off the Island in disgrace. Not still drawing from the public purse.

Maybe someone needs to retake their test and have R plates at least? Or a black box on the trams. You know just in case it happens again. When Longworth was in charge a bus driver was sacked because he had an accident, even though it was because he hadn't been properly trained by management. And yet...

In England rail accidents, including heritage, are investigated by the RAIB which publishes the reports. In the IoM...? A while ago I made a FoI request for the report of an accident in which a crew member received a 500v shock, resulting in permanent damage to his central nervous system. The request was denied because the report named names. No shock there.

Indeed, as always there's never any thought of reducing the balls-ups to make savings. "Savings" are only achieved by price hikes.
Dirty Buggane
Also less people will be taking tests as no new children coming up through the ranks, as their would be parents went off to uni and stayed where they had better job prospects. Higher earnings more pubs, night clubs, music venues. More interesting places to see and lower cost of living. So very, very lucky then. And now we are letting the man ultimately responsible at the time and many years before , having actually crashed a tram since, loose on them again?
