As you say I suspect a lot of the moaners have not been across for a while - our roads are in a much better state of repair here. Scotland in particular is awful - Glasgow being a hot spot for crumbling surfaces and deep potholes. Have you driven in Port St Mary recently from the Albert towards the village, it's like the bloody somme !

Kopek
Isn't it SUVs that are causing most of the potholes???🤪
doc.fixit
You don't think it's anything to do with the 40 ton tri axle wagons? ................or the cars that are as heavy as 4wds? ................or the very large agricultural tractors with equally large dump trailers? ........or the low loaders with plant on?...........or? 1

hissingsid
They have already trialled an electric bus a couple of months ago using sandbags to represent passengers surely that is close enough to asking MHKs to oblige. Regarding publicity regarding the direct flights to Malaga who on earth apart from the Isle of Man would feature a plane with hardly any passengers on 🤣 it just has to be seen to be believed. It's bad there and needs sorting, but people are going way over the top exaggerating it (Baghdad, Beirut, the Somme etc). That said, I was on the top deck of a double decker along there a month or so ago and you could really feel how bumpy it is from there. It is an issue. You should know by now that if it doesn't involve the TT course or is not in Douglas it will be right at the bottom of the pile!.
