What was the original design for this and why are doi fixing the mistakes made by the contractor? Yes, I understand the delays in doing anything about it are cost related. They haven’t announced more road works around Victoria Street, neither are they fixing any mistakes by the contractor who did the crossing work. They are simply resurfacing the road now that all the roadworks and the majority of the heavy traffic for the plan.com building are done. Poor Minister Thomas, he’s spending his whole days and nights and weeks and years defending his departments incompetence. No doubt tomorrow he will have another issue of stupidity to deal with, he’s certainly earning his salary…

If you seriously think that PSM is "worse than the Somme" and that anyone who doesn't agree with that must be lying, then that's kind of sad. Doesn't it make sense to focus on the TT course because of the potential for high-speed accidents, and to focus on Douglas because it's the largest population centre with the business centre, shopping centre, and ferry terminal ? It would be weird not to prioritise both of those, wouldn't it ? Edited April 20, 2023 by The Bastard

The Bastard
Just received a flyer suggesting I take part in a consultation for something called "Living Streets" in Douglas. I tried, but the consultation isn't actually present on the consultation hub. You'd have thought it would be there before flyers went out.
