Dirty Buggane
What I like is the fact about the claim to have sorted out bus problems, hands dusted on to the next problem. Tosser

GreyWolf
Being sarcastic, Is there master plan on that road with one side a mini cycle lane and other side a pavement maybe. Edited July 3, 2023 by GreyWolf
CallMeCurious
"What do you mean both sides? That wasn't in the specification! You just said resurface the road from Port Erin to Port St Mary and we have. If you want the full width that'll cost you more"
buzz
Does anyone know if there’s a specification for height of kerb between footpath and road? Quite a few places on the Patrick road, and others in the area where the road has been built up to the same height as the kerbstones. All new construction has a good difference in height. 🤷🏼♂️
CallMeCurious
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-66101044 The previous findings by SYSTRA showed the railways cost £4.87m to operate but had a direct revenue of £1.66m. So that is £8,794 a day loss just for the railways? And probably even more now.

Two-lane
The DoI is informing motorists that a major thoroughfare will be closed for 4 hours on Saturday. No doubt many people will ignore the warning signs and try to drive down this highway, thus causing traffic chaos in Douglas. I wonder who gets paid to decide which trivia to display, and what their salary is.

Traffic Chaos. You are making me laugh 🤣🤣
