Gizo
Well I think she has a point. It’s friggin bonkers around Balla for traffic. Why shouldn’t there be a 20mph restriction? oh yeah. I remember now, max and all the TT botherers will be mostly upset that their HuMaN rIgHtS are being infringed becoz I want to gO fAsT.

Dirty Buggane
The fact they have not run the track cleaner( some one did not know what the fuck it was and skipped it) Might have some thing to do with that and the traffic light will of just been through bolted into tarmac so no surprise and nothing to do with stones being washed on to the prom

Two-lane
It is obvious that a storm is going to throw sand and small stones into the rail track grooves - the tram wheel flange will ride up on this and the trailer will derail. This is also a problem for the MER, but the track is only affected on short sections at road junctions where the rain water brings debris onto the track - and the trams are heavy enough to compress minor blockages. If a driver reports a problem, a crew goes out, scrapes the stones out and then goes back to base. But after a big storm this problem probably exists for the whole length of the prom. The DoI should recognise that this problem exists - or do they need AI to tell them that.

Kopek
Thank god they didn't extend the Tram tracks, Gansey road was a mess of debris???
Dirty Buggane
As I said before they usedve have a piece of equipment to clear the rails, consists of a bogey with two arms that engage with the rail grove. But having replaced the original rails with proper railway rails they now find they have a major problem to clean them, no doubt meaning having to bring in a specialist crew from Germany to deal with it after every breeze over a force 6. Not sure they needed a police car to stop people driving up to PSM though. Surely some signage would have sufficed. It was pretty obvious that the mess was being cleaned up. Looked like they were picking them out by hand when I was down there earlier.
