She thinks the government should get that in order before contemplating any increase in population. And yet, reading this thread it would appear that she’s talking rubbish. If only she wasn’t a she. Or looked better. Or had a different accent. Or wore different clothes. Or wasn’t in a position of power, as a woman. Trying to make it about being misogynistic (an invention by you as I even compared to Moffatt another useless shouter) rather than about her being a generally hideous 80s throw back character who is destroying the reputation of her Union by basically being a hopeless big mouth who nobody seems to be paying any attention to. Building a new school and and increasing DESC budget, increased budgets across pretty much all departments and people still moan. I really can’t get my head around people objections to a larger population. Question. Would the island be a better or worse place to live if we knocked the population back to 70k? I heard that two Filipino health workers and their families have walked for the very same reason outlined above. The "Plan" to increase the population is going nowhere until and unless the housing situation is rectified.
