I have a good friend who has tracked vehicles, generators etc etc, all bought when the West had the last big snow ! He'll be salivating at the thought of using his kit maybe tomorrow, as he hasn't used it LOL !

One might wonder if DOI will press into service that big tractor equipped with a snowplough and a blower that they've got on permanent hire from JDW's and which is safely stashed out at Jurby 😉 Allegedly to keep the Mountain clear.

By the time they've gone through the levels of decision making and ticked all the boxes the snow will have been and gone.

Bollocks!  Last time I was snowed in, I walked into work at Nobles - and plenty of my front line colleagues did the same.

And the same will happen tomorrow, all hospital staff will make their way into work and if the forecast is correct they will probably not get home that evening.  A family member walked into Nobles the last time and had to walk home again after a 13 hour shift.  Unfortunately hospital staff are not given the option unlike other government workers!
