Looks more like a Circus Ringmaster to me, which would be quite appropriate to be honest.

The whole thing reminds me of the League of Gentlemen and Royston Vasey’s Legz Akibo troupe. These sort of sad visiting troupes of misfits designed to create more social awareness amongst kids have always been completely laughable. Get the kids in a hall, let a load of misfits talk a load of patronizing socially aware nonsense for 45 minutes. Box ticked. And the kids will always be guaranteed to either misbehave or take the piss (or both).

Let's be honest, if it wasn't this, Josem would have dragged up a black and white photo of a rugby player in a dress at the 1963 Peel Carnival and claimed it justified all this silly panic.  Instead it's amateur theatricals in a school hall.

The interesting thing is that most people could see this stupid hysteria for what it was from the start, and some of those who were initially fooled soon realised the truth.  Manx Forums is hardly the most 'woke' institution in existence, yet most of us were sceptical at least.  And yet to read the London press you'd think this sort of nonsense was both important and obsessing the country.

I did go to the QEII in the nineties with somebody who later appeared in drag in the Examiner promoting something or other.

So the school does have a history of things totally unrelated to the current situation.

I’d like to expose a former MLC who I believe once visited Peel during a Manx Choral Union Coach Trip in 1997. It’s disappointing that Ms Edge didn’t make reference to this in her answer either. I suspect it’s all a cover up.
