Upstream
I've enjoyed reading the thread on school teachers in Douglas, even though I don't know most of them. I didn't want to break into that thread so thought one could be started about CRHS teachers. I'm not quite sure where to start though! Any takers? Tempus Fugit
Gotta be JR for starters, I can still see him standing at the junction of the corridors in the old school and marching along with his black cloak flowing behind him. One of his sayings was "I myself personally..."

Tempus Fugit
Not exactly a 'High' school, I believe it was one of the first 'comprehensive' schools when it opened in 1947 (or thereabouts) JR Smith, headmaster, also introduced a 'school leaving certificate' series of exams for those who were not in the A stream and wouldn't be doing O or A levels.
