In addition, nearly half the human population was born this century. That is the problem, not CO2. So human population is is not a human influence? So we are assuming this is exceptional compared to what happened in the hundreds of thousands of years or more of which we have no record? So less exceptional than a total solar eclipse which we know has happened for eternity, but which we only have actual records of for the last few hundred years? In that instance we can backdate because it’s a regular event beaded on position of earth etc etc. In the case of the weather we just need common sense to know that record has been broken many many times in the past. Well there is actually a record in ice cores and geology, but I assume a dramatised youtube video with a click bait title works best for you.

People don't do their homework. They form an opinion that is not based on facts. You are correct and the carbon dioxide levels from millions of years ago can be calculated as you say. Other stuff like temperatures and rainfall can be estimated based on deposits and analysis. not to the same level of accuracy

Non-Believer
From Sky News this very morning. Not much virtue signalling going on in the Far East...maybe Daphne & Co could justify a trip out there to point out the error of their ways.... The dark blue bars are coal fired generation that has been decommissioned. Edited April 11 by Non-Believer screenshot
