Wind turbines will go ahead, I have no doubt. With China building two more coal fired power stations per week which negates everything this is trying to achieve for the next 50 years and we'll probably be buying their 'green' products to boot. In 2022 the (Chinese) government approved a record-breaking 106 gigawatts (GW) of new coal-fired power capacity. One gigawatt is the equivalent of a large coal power plant.
