You misunderstood then. The zero carbon solution is to use on island solar/wind with the difference being wind/solar/nuclear via the interconnenectors. Power station to be de commissioned in 2030.

We don't have £1.3 billion to spend on it.  Govt is scrapping round trying to save £10 million ffs.
