Genuine question. It relates back to the point made by John Wright about proportionality of use.

Low level, drink related, domestic, nothing physical, just words, called in via JSCR. No need blues & twos.

Instead of normal police attendance the armed response team is out on exercise nearby and gets directed to attend. 3 sergeants, one Constable, full tactical kit, armed.

What happens when occupants open door and are greeted with armed police? It escalates.

Proportionate?

Genuine incident last weekend.
