American XL bully dogs

Dogs are pack animals. If you are from a different pack, you are potentially at risk. All dogs bite. All dogs should be on a lead in public and be muzzled.

Dog owners are a different breed. Why should they be allowed to take digs into restaurants where hygiene is the top priority? What makes dog owners think it is acceptable to take them into shops, some of which have millions of pounds worth of stock? Why are they allowed in the passenger are of the ferrys? Even on the Manannan where in the past they were always banned. In the same way that they are not allowed in the passenger areas of an aircraft, they should be put in the provided kennels. The whole situation has become ridiculous and covid has made it worse because so many people got dogs during lockdown so the could leave the house for longer and more often.

The situation is literally barking!

So dogs are now allowed in the passenger areas of the Manannan? I didn’t know that. When did that happen?

That’s ace news. In the past we’ve not used the Manannan, due to having to leave the dog in the car.

Just need the provision of crates for small children and the jobs a good un!

No. There is a small area starboard forward roped off for dogs snd their owners. They are not allowed outside or anywhere else. It is only temporary anyway. If you or your dog does a mess on the carpet, you will be billed for the cleaning.

A bunch of Bully XL owners (Chavs) got together at the weekend to protest about the proposed ban.

Except that no one brought their dogs as it would clearly have turned into a bloodbath.

It was an absolutely ridicuous idea for them to even consider bringing along their dogs. Any large group of dogs put together, unknown to one another, in close proximity is always a bad idea. Putting hundreds of Bully XL's together would have been an absolute disaster. That he Bully owners had to be told this by animal welfare, and couldn't work it out on their own is seriously worrying. They have a potential killing machine on the end of a pice of rope and have no idea whosoever of the psychology of a dog.

Not altogether unsuprising though is it?

It's a shame really, I was looking forward to the Darwinism in action.

Are there "hundreds" of XL bully's on the Island..? I doubt it.

I did see a screengrab from Facebook which suggested that the reason they did not bring the dogs was because the Police intended to antagonise them and confiscate them.  There was also a reported clash with a group of "rejoiners" who were holding a march on the same day.  Reports suggest that at least one of the XL Bully people tried to pick a fight and called the "rejoiners" traitors  🙄.

They maybe were not alone in that as an anti-ULEZ march also had a pop at the "rejoiners".

Imagine living in London and having to put up with three protest marches in one day!
