Since when has visiting any supermarket become a pleasant experience?

Well mooching around Vic road was always a laid back sort of shopping experience.

So you were one of the ones blocking the aisles, mooching whilst those of us just wanted to go in, do our shopping and get out again.

Laid back shopping experience for you,  frustrating for others. No different from Tesco’s

What! Going into Tesco is like being led led into 1940's gas chambers!

And how many 1940’s gas chambers have you been led into?

None I would guess. Me neither but I don’t really think the comparison bears scrutiny.

It's a fucking awful experience nonetheless.

Why would anyone mooch around Vic Road?  It was a supermarket (by super, I think the meaning in this context is large) not a leisure facility. If by laid back you mean empty, then agreed.

Lake Road is rammed at the moment, but that will ease off when Vic Road is open, I guess.

As for the comparison to a 1940's gas chamber, words fail me.

I had the pleasure of visiting a large Tesco extra in Newtownbreda this week while attending a hospital appointment in Belfast and can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, we had lunch which was very reasonably priced and of excellent quality and then done our monthly shop and saved £32 with our clubcard offers. Maybe when Victoria road is completed it may be worth your while to visit with an open mind and you may like myself enjoy the experience.
