I don't know when that was planned, but I would imagine they worked it into the refurb scheme. I don't get your point really. There wasn’t a point. It was a question. Thanks for answering it. It would seem there was some new work then. I wouldn’t know as I never go there, hence the question. 7 minutes ago, Passing Time said: Does he ever have a point other than to argue at the drop of a hat... Since when was asking a question arguing? Jeez.

I don’t think so. 35 minutes ago, Gladys said: They have installed new self service tills. I don't know when that was planned, but I would imagine they worked it into the refurb scheme. I don't get your point really. Tesco are rolling out a new EPOS system across the British Isles, it includes an updated online ordering system which was rolled out to IOM a couple of months ago. They've continued to develop and improve the Lake Road store continuously, unlike the former Shoprite where it would be years (decades?) between development

This was replacing the actual self-service hardware at Lake Road. It was taken out of action when I was there on Tuesday[1]. I suspect the specialist team moved later that day after they had finished fitting up Castletown, ready to open on Thursday. [1] Tuesday is traditionally seen as the quietest day for supermarkets and hence when changes tend to be scheduled for.
John Wright
Vic Road Tesco is to get a changing places toilet, fully accessible, large changing table and hoist, so older children, teens, and adults can be changed by their carers.

So you can compare the in store prices on there with Lake Road. *I'll end up doing that.

The point about there being no budget lines will actually make it even more than 15% in effect for many people. I haven't seen many piling their baskets high there. TheTeapot
It seems quite incredible really that Tesco have taken over a run down half arsed small 'supermarket', and somehow made it worse. 1

I pointed it out on here that it would happen a number of times over recent weeks.
