Cueey Lewis And The News
I see St Joney of Palestine East is on another Twitter roll. If only she had ever been as vocal about anything to do with her actual £70K a year job representing people in Douglas. Fred the shred
Hopefully this will put any hopes of her being re-elected for another term waste of oxygen.

cissolt
I expected good things from Joney. Unfortunately she has done nothing since being elected. I agree with the earlier poster, if she tackled our local issues with the same energy that she has for the situation in Gaza we might be in a better state. 3 1

I suspect that very few of the 700 odd people who voted for her will actually see all the stuff she is currently spouting on Twitter, which is a huge shame. It might be an idea for MR or 3FM to get her on, and give her the chance to commit political suicide to a larger audience. 2
Gladys
What has happened to Claire Christian? She was never afraid to voice her opinion on things or try to hold her colleagues to account, mostly sensibly. Shame, because I had high hopes of her. asitis
Most if not all of them have now been absorbed into the Borg ! Perhaps only Mr Wanenburgh has not yet been assimilated ! but capture teams will be actively pursuing him ! I'm still waiting for Ashford to have his total recall moment ! 1

Her performance has been consistent with my low expectations. The 'energy' she has for the situation in Gaza seems to be particularly one-sided. The obvious route to de-escalation of the awful situation would be for the Hamas terrorists to release the hostages they have abducted. I don't see Joney the oh-so-'progressive' having put much energy into calling for that though. Of course she is (at least I hope) not stupid enough to think that her bleatings will have any effect whatsoever on the situation in the Middle East, so I presume it's more about positioning herself within the lefty circles. It would be great if her consituents took note of what they've voted for, but sadly I have low expectations there too. Should be more concentrated on drug gangs stabbing each other and the totally inadequate sentence of 5 years for some no mark stabbing some other kid in the stomach with a kitchen knife and filming it! Yes filming himself stabbing a person, WTAF. Shows a complete mentalist that should be locked up forever to protect the rest of the population. IOM is supposed to be a safe place? Dose not look like it any more with light sentences like that............

ian rush
I don’t get this thread. Yes most in the echochamber don’t like progressive, lefty wokeflake politics but I wouldn’t say there was either a disinterest in alternative views or that Joney is doing anything other than being consistent with her position / politics re Palestine.
