I must be psychic....not. Maybe Stu P. can advise exactly what actions are being taken to address the problematic "fixed costs" other than the endless hikes in postage rates?

There is no need to pay the exorbitant prices now being charged……simply go to eBay and buy unwanted stamp collections (Mint Not Hinged stamps) which are still valid for postage indefinitely.

the stamps I am currently using cost me £30 for £147 face value…..Bargain price for Christmas presents being posted!

Things may be about to get a whole lot worse for IOM Post though…

….according to our postie, IOM Post Office may lose the contract for parcels from Royal Mail to Manx Independent Carriers…..and whilst MIC may not have enough infrastructure to cope with the volume of parcels, IOM Post Office may end up delivering them on behalf of MIC…..but at a lower per parcel price, therefore reducing their income further.
