Beelzebub3 Posted December 5, 2023 Share Posted December 5, 2023 If I remember correctly the promenade at Laxey washed out about 20+ years ago and a load of boulders had to dragged in to fill in the holes as the promenade had collapsed, I hope that a severe Easterly gale will not do the same again. The shingle build up gave a lot of protection to the promenade face and also slowed down the rollers running up the beach, time will tell.
