Manx navel gazing at its best when there are many serious issues - Island Energy, Cost of Living, IOM Reserves and Housing etc. We have developers who don’t want to build ‘affordable’ housing within a development, as it’s not cost-effective, even when the taxpayer is subsidising it by 25%. If they get rid of the Bishops voting right, they need to end the farce of Tynwald Day Church Service and the ceremony, and other ecclesiastical practices which may offend some of our politicos.
