Give it a rest. The target acquisition in the south was nowhere like the intensity in Gaza City and you know it. Mind you, things move on...

As I posted looking at the death and destruction it might make some realise that supporting a bunch of no-hoper  murderous thugs is probably not a good idea after all...

Oh so Israel only bombed them a lot rather than a fuckload? How moral.

So in your view, in response to Hamas' actions on October 7th, Israel shouldn't have launched military action against them? They should have said, fair enough we will stop occupying the West Bank if you return the hostages. Apart from being naive and unrealistic, that would surely have encouraged Hamas to commit further atrocities in order to extract further concessions from Israel. So not less motivating for terrorists.

They shouldn't have ever gotten into this position because they shouldn't have spent the last 75 years following policies of displacement and dispossession.

They should have gone after the Hamas leaders, not flattened an area full of 2 million civilians.

Of course, on Israel eliminating the Hamas leaders the Iranians would never think to appoint replacements who would be a lot more covert now would they?

Of course not....

Never occur to them...

Never...

Idiot. Although you're sort-of lucky to have such a simple view of things...

They're intentionally bombing areas they told civilians to evacuate to.

Now the IDF are operating in the South they're telling civilians to evacuate target areas. Which makes it easier for the IDF to operate in. Fancy you not mentioning that...

Your handwaving and refusal to acknowledge this won't change it.

Civilians are being murdered all for the crime of being born in the wrong place. You seem to think that's acceptable. Well it's fucking not.

If only it were that straightforward. You conveniently forget to mention that the West Bank was annexed by Jordan 75 years ago at which time around 17,000 jews were murdered or displaced. It isn't all down to Israeli policies.

They are going after the local Hamas leaders in Gaza, or are you suggesting they should also start operations in Qatar where many of the leaders live luxurious lives? Do you think that might end up in a far more widespread conflict in the Middle East?

Israeli policies have intentionally kept Gaza in a state of poverty. Israel has intentionally supported Hamas in an attempt to scupper any hopes of a Palestinian state. Israel must take responsibility for its behaviour and make amends for it, or there will never be peace.

By the IDF's own numbers (which are unverified), they've killed fewer than 10 Hamas commanders. For around 20,000 dead civilians. Do you think that's going to have reduced the number of Hamas members, or increased it as people who've lost family seek retribution?

It's war.

In case you failed to notice it...

The IDF would not intentionally strike an area if there was not a Hamas target there. Even you must be able to understand that they've got better things to do.

Incidentally the civilian casualty lists are prepared by Hamas and therefore totally unreliable. I have also noticed that when folks are recovered from a strike the bearers deliberately make sure the cameras get a good view.

The IDF are claiming over 5,000 Islamic Resistance Fighters have been eliminated.

So only 35,000 to go.
