Kopek
Not that cheap then? Sure about 60 quid for 100 mbs, no up front costs. I'm currently 65? quid on MT copper and landline, mobile id PAYG about 15 quid a month but used mainly on Whats App, so no charge. I've been advised that there is no hurry to go 'fibre' as yet. So, do I go fibre with Sure, do without the landline ans rely on Whats App to keep my mobile costs down? Seems somewhat less than satellite with installation costs!!!!

Until they stop copper in 2025 and I have a 100 metre drive down to my house in a rural district the cost of ducting is prohibitive
Kopek
If your driveway is your own and not communal you could 'Ace Hire' a machine to do a small trench in the soft earth for a cable, weekends work??? Few 100 quid? '25 is said to be the cutoff but will it be acertain day and then nothing? All cables come from a pole 50m away, are they going to cut me off and sell the copper?? Yes, it has to happen sometime but these cutoff times are just frighteners?
