Is Manx meat not good enough?  Is this a joke?

Are you asking why one of the biggest food outlets in the world don’t tailor their recipe and entire business model and use Manx meat in their burgers?

The usual rules on franchises means the franchisor supplies his stuff to sell to the franchisee. Franchisor processing and cooking/serving rules means the food will taste the same wherever it is sold.

McDonald's burgers would probably be twice as expensive if they bought Manx meat, probably three times if they had to introduce processing here.

They used to use Manx meat, and did for years

Really?  Any source for that?

Even if they did, I doubt it would make any difference in this instance?  They might have agreed to ship some to one of their factories but they won’t have been making burgers locally.

It would be too difficult to make quality Manx meat into the chemical shit storm that is a Macdonald's burger.

What’s that then?  A McDs burger likely has less crap in it than most of what you buy locally.

Was a condition of planning application 97/00697/B.

Meat shipped to UK, processed and shipped back
