La Colombe
Not looking good for racing this week. I hope they make early decisions on road closures this year, could be doing me a favour if they don't close at all.

According to Crazy Dave this happened at Brandywell. Full of shit.

Apparently the owner was very quick to take the number plates off before any pictures got uploaded onto Facebook. Would that not be an offence, pretty sure you have to have number plates on a vehicle on the public highway crashed or uncrashed. That would be ironic in trying to conceal the fact the knobhead/ (not sure of the female equivalent) for the more PC in our midst. They end up with their name across the local rag, also on NPM. CallMeCurious
Maybe it's time to keep the mountain Saturday to Saturday of race week, stop them faffing with cones and let them stick to a schedule and close the rest of the course from 9 to 9 with two crossing times at 12-1 and 5-6. Practises and racing on Sa, S, Tu, Th, Fr leaving Mo,We & Sa for weather delays Cops could then focus on the Laxey coast road and Michael/Ballaugh way and keep it moving. And then shorten practise week year by year until it's a 9 day event. So you then wouldn't have to faff about with a one way and all the crap that goes with it and the numpties who ignore it. After all they spend at least 4-5 days installing signs and then taking them down again while mountina is closed. Never happen though and both visitors and residents end up playing will they wont they with events and road closures. Hell, during TT week on the free days charge them £40 toll to use the closed road something like they do at Nurbergring. You get to book a 20 minute slot. Close it down once it's dark between 9pm and 6am.

The picture above now verifies no plates. Believe the guy got out and first thing he did was whip the number plates off before someone could get a good shot of it as it was obvious a picture of a wrecked McLaren was going to end up straight on Facebook. Especially as it’s a Manx registered car. It is probably illegal to do so. Believe he also nearly took a few bikers out. The super car idiots really seem to be annoying the TT fans this year. There was apparently a bike off the road at Brandywell and then this car. So possibly at least two separate RTC incidents around the same time. Two-lane
Quick-release number plates. Are they a standard fitting on all super-cars?
