Yesterday a person who flew a ‘drone’ during practice appeared before court. He is fined £500, and his ‘drone’ confiscated. So much for being harsh, this is a mere slap in the wrist. It’s also says how great both the police and other authorities publicity/advertisement campaigns aren’t working.

From the NPM -

Have you not grown out of that yet?

So now we have the annual social media uproar about people on closed roads.

3fm have this story

https://www.three.fm/news/isle-of-man-news/police-appeal-after-man-photographed-on-closed-roads/

But then there's a video from Cronk-y-Voddy claiming to be during closed roads of a whole flock of people on the road... where were the marshals in both cases?

How do you conclude that he “doesn’t appear to do anything”

Is it because he doesn’t leave home to sit in an office for 12 hours every day like people did in the olden days?

People have worked out now that you can do most things remotely or from home and that a decent work life balance is one of the most productive things you can have.

I am going to guess you are at least 60?

Seriously successful people never did that even in the olden days.

I fuckn hope this is true. The tik tok generation is gonna ruin the whole spectacle. Forget 260 odd deaths, thousands of families ruined but instagrammers will kill this death event.

Incredible

does the road closure order actually specify the first 50 feet of every junction as well as the TT course itself ?  the barriers may not actually be positioned where the road is legally specified as closed  but i do get that this has always been the way and probably the intent of the road closure order with the usual cos tha'ts what we meant it to be clause.

Nice to know that our young uns are causing shit during TT. Today’s juniors will grow up into tomorrow’s scrotes.

Parents are being urged to keep close tabs on their children over the TT period.

Police say they dealt with a number of incidents involving young people on Friday night (31 May).

They say youngsters are enjoying the fair, on Douglas Promenade, and other attractions around the Island.

However Inspector Paul Kemp says some are causing issues:
