John Wright
Last time I remember a TT as disrupted as this was way back in 1976 or 77. We had Manannans cloak all week. In those days Saturday was contingency. And that was impacted and I think the some races didn’t happen. Maybe it was MGP. I was at university. Dad had just moved into a new house and I was laying out flower beds and veg patches in the mist
Gizo
Didn’t the senior get cancelled a few years ago because of weather? they would have got all racing in if they actually raced when it’s dry

HiVibes
Thankfully the reduced race lengths and prolonged road closures will have a positive impact on the carbon footprint of the event.

As a casual observer and I admit I know little about it, but as the Senior is the blue riband event surely priority should have been given to that race going the distance ?

And so just cancel one of the other classes. The race they have cancelled is largely made up of bikes that would have been in the senior anyway. Its the best decision they could have made. " Sunday, 9 June IsolatedShowers 15°C 8°C 20 Mainly dry with bright or sunny intervals. Risk of isolated showers." But then, the forecast is by Neil Young. He should have stuck to music. 1

Doesn’t seem a good forecast, but not like a hurricane though
