They are included now as 240 towards the 15 000 new residents!

They'll certainly be included in the 2024 visitor figures with an average spend of £1000 per head which will give a boost to the economy of @ £700,000 using the local multiplier effect patented by one E. Teare.

Anyone know a good roofer who can do metalwork? Kind of serious about this, as it’s hard to find any contractors for this type of work or it would have been done already.

Joking aside.  If that's Copper, surely you may as well roof it in gold considering it's price nowadays?  I bet there is some decent money scrap for the old one.

Isn't it the appearance that matters?  Ply, fibreglass and then paint it the oxidized copper colour?  Or can you get plastic sheets in the same colour?

I'm assuming if you roofed it in new copper, that would be orange rather than green and completely different from the existing anyway?

One thing is for sure. Its definitely warm outside for the time of year. Been amazingly warm all winter so far. The climate people have been saying for over 20 years that as the atmosphere warms we will experience more frequent and stronger storms. More rain and flooding as well.

Just think of the money people will Save on their gas bills,

It does say something positive about the depth of the English football league structure, that 245 travelled in a storm to windswept island by EasyJet to watch a mid-table league game in the 9th level. Or maybe it just says something about Kendal.
