Got a while yet till storm Alf comes around but we know that one will just blow us all away and piss all over us all.

It's actually a very long-lived storm, it's been doing it since the back end of 2021 and followed on from Storm Howard.

The one that follows Alf is forecast to do much the same and worse but it hasn't been named yet.

Looks like the next one, Storm Jocelyn, might miss us. Still be wet and windy no doubt.

Storm Kate after that. Full backing of the CM, no matter what damage is done to the Island and it's population. Will take years to clear up the mess after she's gone.

Edit - file size restriction grumble moan grumble, that picture should be loads bigger

Genuine question as I can't tell, is that sarcasm?

I know it's typical for us to have multiple storms through the winter, but it does feel like we've had a particularly stormy one. Yesterday's storm in particular seemed 'different'.

My in depth meteorological knowledge would concur its been windy as fuck this winter.

You're right though, there have been very few gaps between the storms like normal. It's just been more or less constant.
