Spar sell Roberts bread and there is an extra thick loaf in that range.

Scrummy but a bit pricey at £2.20

It's great double-toasted. Toast it once, allow to cool in the toaster and re-do it keeping an eye on it to brown as required. Spread thickly with real butter and enjoy it with a poached-egg on top...

I recently enherited my grandmother's old steel griddle and have been making Irish soda/wheaten farls and the taste and smell is fantastic and to make it even better it is very cheap only require buttermilk flour bicarb and salt, makes my hovis white seem somewhat bland.🤫

Maybe this issue will be resolved when Robinson get the bakery they are building up and running? Perhaps they will add to the current range and partly fill the gap left by Ramsey Bakery closing.

Surprised that Robinsons haven't started importing bread from the UK, re-packaging it in Braddan in a Robinsons plastic wrapper and started to sell it as "local bread". It's what they've been doing with fruit and veg for years while claiming "local produce". You only have to have half an eye open to see the country of origin of almost all Robinsons produce is not the Isle of Man.

And where would they sell this mystical bread?

They are literally in the process of building a bakery.  What are you on about?
