Two-lane
Here is a bit more detailed information from the Ramsey Commissioner's Accounts: Column1 - year ending Column2 - number of staff earning between £50,000 and £74,999 Column3 - Total key management personnel compensation (where supplied) 2022 5 £293,908 2021 2 £139,877 2020 2 £136,355 2019 2 £131,109 2018 1 £127,995 2017 1 2016 2 2015 2 2014 2 So there are 5 of the buggers and they cannot provide a set of computer-readable accounts. Edited to add: So the management costs have more than doubled in 4 years. I wonder what the 2023 figures will be. Fred the shred
I don’t know where you get the figure for a typical house in Onchan from Molly I paid over £650 last year for a small two bedroomed bungalow that was the Onchan rate alone. Fred the shred
In the day the Town Clerk of Douglas had to have legal experience that is why they have always commanded a good salary the idea being saving on paying lawyers…well that worked well 🤣 they have spent more than Onchan on lawyers over the last few years. At senior level, appointments have to be approved by the Board, indeed at least one member, usually either the Chair or Lead Member for Finance, have to be present at the interview and selection stages. Of course, if a candidate happens to be one of the Town Clerk's mates, this might be by-passed by not telling the Board until after the appointment which makes it extremely difficult and/or embarrassing to reverse or get rid under PS T&Cs. 😉

It depends on what the rateable value of your property is. The average rateable value is 116 - this is what I’ve used for the calculations. It looks like your bungalow will have a higher rateable value.

They had to create a new line in their annual accounts for him this year.
