Another huge overspend too but at least we did get a hospital at the end of it.

Except people have no choice but to accept rules imposed without consent. Just seems like a convenient excuse to lower our standard of living with the convenience of ephemeral excuses about the weather so we won't question the economic decline.

But that is just my opinion.

They did, £45M initially comes to memory but I might be wrong. I think the justification for it was NI = health = hospital.

As I said I think I recall TB saying it was the interest on the then NI fund, and therefore it was a "free hospital" !
