I don't know anything about that but want to.

It was the typical Manx pettiness brigade trying to subvert the discussion around earystane.

Interesting to see which other Tynwald members joined this group immediately after it was created, perhaps after instruction in a pro windfarm WhatsApp group

Does her comment about a HS2 type purchase scheme hold any weight?

To be fair to him he may have submitted before the announcement was made, which was only on the 9th (questions had to be in by Monday 12pm) and there will still be Tesco-branded cards, just run by Barclays.  And it would have been an excuse for any MHK to ask about credit card availability generally.

So before submitting and he could have withdrawn or asked a question about credit card availability’s rather than his usual crap

He could have withdrawn, but it would have been tight to get a more general question in because of the deadline.  Of course Johnston is also wrong if he says that no new Tesco cards are being issued - it's just that they will now be issued by Barclays.  They have said they won't issue any new ones without a UK address, which Moorhouse has been complaining about before, so presumably the same restrictions will apply.
