I've been seeing the impact on my local pubs for some time now, evenings busy around paydays for monthly salaried workers but on the run up to those paydays it's noticeably quieter. And many of those pubs don't even bother opening early in the week now, Wednesdays are the earliest; there was a time when they were opening 7 days.

The cost of living is definitely impacting, there's less "impulse" socialising, rather people are conserving their disposable for planned nights out.

I thought you would be a nags head local, always packed 365 days of the year!!
