Those fees are part of an airlines costs so form part of the ticket price. Those "extra" charges that are on top of a ticket price appeared after 9/11 and include the costs for extra insurance, security etc. (Also seen some airlines now include the Fuel surcharge into this extra charge.) agreed but the point made was about the prices that the consumer pays to travel. hence the response ws about prices paid by the consumer to travel. iom_feesexternalpdf.pdf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
