I don't know because I have never had cause to write it before.

Mentioned in several Tatlock love letters of the 70s...you'll just have to wait for the publication of my memoirs.

Are they written in rhyming couplets?

It’s odd how rumours continue for years or decades surrounding public houses.

Re the Lanky does  anyone else remember rumours involving the pool table maybe thirty years ago?

Whether there was ever any  truth in it these things live on. Quite bizarre really.

It is indeed. The LA rumour originated from events probably 40 years ago.

There was certainly one about the pool table at the Commie in Ramsey that may or may not have involved a local butcher and a younger relation of the land lady. Not sure if it was true.

Subject to planning enforcement.  Details on the planning webpage.  One is fine, the other is in the wrong place, or too high and works done to raise the plot and land not included in the site plan so I believe.

They were built too high is what i was told by a subby who does a fair bit of work for Marlow

Bloke down the pub rumour, and from some time ago too, so take with a pinch of salt.

I heard that they have no electricity supply, I can't remember exactly why, perhaps was the cost, perhaps it was overlooked - there was some reason but I can't remember it.

Might be rubbish, but that's what I heard.

There are two new houses. Furness Cottage and Lancashire House.

Finding the correct applications is hard. The planning interactive map is all overlaid. The site has 16 applications since 1999.

One of them was built at wrong level, but that that was rectified by a retrospective planning last year. However that left drainage out on the other plot. There’s an application currently under consideration about that.
