Where did you glean this nugget of nonsense from?

If it's not been in the news, how would you know that it has come about as a result of a visit by visit and business agencies from DfE? It appears to be very specific knowledge 😉

It is not necessary to make business trips to other places to get ideas like this.

It was proposed (in a humorous way) on this forum some years ago.

[And as far as zip-wires go, they work best when the incline is not too severe. Snaefell to Laxey would require a braking system - braking system? Snaefell? That sound familiar]

The Snaefell tram is a breaking system.

Great to see taxpayers money being used for mini breaks for civil servants.

It does look like a great civil service day out doesn't it? A nice trip to Wales to do some zip wiring and write up a little report and do a Facebook post for engagement. I would suggest that as Carol Glover (the “Maverick maker” 🤮🤮) thinks it’s a good idea then its probably a very bad idea as she seems to have carved out a very mediocre career as an expert on entrepreneurial thinking having spent her time buying cheese for Shoprite and then blagging running a failed tourism department for IOM Government before disappearing up her own backside.

I think over and through The Chasms would be a good idea as long as it's tested with some disposable civil servants first.
